Get outside and get involved.
That's what a group in Clawson is working on to help bring an outdoor, public skate park to Clawson.
The group, made of adults and children alike, suggest the following ways to help out:
- Watch the Skateboard Demonstrations along the midway on the 4th of July from 12 noon to 4 p.m. and look for representatives from the group in the scheduled parade.
- Purchase Clawson Skatepark swag (100 percent of the proceeds are used to fund the skate park).
- Donate your returnable bottles and cans — simply leave them on your porch by 9 a.m., July 5.
