Walsh Fifth Annual Small Business Conference

Has your company devised a new system, or created a unique approach, or designed a better product that could be used by small business? Walsh College is looking for new and innovative products and services for small business to be featured at its Fifth Annual BusinessLIVE Conference on October 20 in Troy.  “We want to help our conference guests find new ways of doing business; and at the same time give exposure to new products and services that are being offered,” said Jan Hubbard, Walsh Leadership Center Director and conference coordinator.

Up to 15 new products will be given free exhibit space during the morning continental breakfast and networking from 7:30 – 8:15 a.m. The conference runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and includes educational sessions to increase the success of local small and family businesses. Submit a photo and one paragraph description by October 10 to jhubbard@walshcollege.edu.

The event is being held in the Walsh College Barry Center, which opened in 2009 and is certified as LEED Gold for its environmentally friendly building design. Contractor on the Walsh Barry Center was George W. Auch Company. Auch President Vince DeLeonardis will be the morning’s keynote speaker and will describe the corporate culture that allowed the company to survive through many transitions in metro Detroit for more than 100 years.
