Moms Talk: How Do You Give Graduation Gifts Without Breaking the Bank?

Share ideas for giving graduation gifts while on a budget.

It's graduation season, which means you may have family members or friends walking across the stage this month. It's only natural that you'll want to give them a token for their success.

A National Retail Federation survey estimates that Americans will spend $3.87 billion in graduation gifts this year, down from $4.5 billion in 2007.

The average amount spent per graduate is $90, federation spokeswoman Kathy Grannis said.
