Spring Athletes: Hunter Parsons and Haley Ammons

Sport: Varsity Tennis

Performance: The tennis players are undefeated in league dual matches, won the league tournament and undefeated in league play this season.

"The team finished up 4-1-1 in conference (losing to Mott and tying Marine City) and 6-3-3 overall for the season," head coach Ann Marie Jasieniecki said. "Having a pretty good league record going into the tournament, I knew we would be very competitive and had a shot to win again." 

"We ended up getting a couple number one seeds and a couple number two seeds," Jasieniecki said. "Hunter Parsons and Haley Ammons placed 1st in the tournament after winning the tournament at two doubles. It was very exciting to see the girls play great tennis to finish out the season."
