Come Party Like It's the Super Bowl at Black Lotus Sunday

Watch the Lions take on the Philadelphia Eagles Oct. 14 for a hometown cause.

Yeah, we know the Detroit Lions seem to be having yet another lousy year.

However, we all can dream of the team someday making it to the Super Bowl... maybe.

Either way, come down to Black Lotus and The Drive-In Sunday afternoon and watch our boys take on the Philadelphia Eagles! Sure, there might be some shouting, cheering and possibly even some tears, but everyone will still have a great time.

The best part? Proceeds from the "Super Bowl Party" will go toward making improvements to the Clawson baseball field.

"Our field at City Park has been rated the worst in the league for several years now; I appreciate the City Council, School Board and Booster Club stepping up to make these needed improvements," said Ralph Haney, who coaches varsity baseball at Clawson High School. "I hope everyone can come out, enjoy a Lions victory and support our kids."

There will be free virtual golf along with beverage and food specials available during the game. Oakland County Commissioner Mike Bosnic is sponsoring the event.

"I've been a Lions fan since 1975 and have one playoff win to show for it," said Commissioner Bosnic. "They are due to go to a Super Bowl; I just hope it is in my lifetime."
