TNT 5K Run & Mile Fun Run

Area teens are organizing a run to help support the Autism Programs at Clawson and Royal Oak High Schools

The Link Program in Clawson provides an opportunity for students to help other students in the Autism Spectrum Disorder Program.  The outcome of becoming a peer mentor builds leadership skills, allows for team building and diversity awareness.  This is such a popular program that there are many more students who sign up to help others than the program has capacity for at this time. The Bridges (Building Relationships and Independence Daily) program brings together students with special needs as well as students with autism and learning disabiities to build friendships and celebate peer mentoring.

Additional funds will allow student volunteers to develop fun lessons and activities for students with autism.
