From Royal Oak to Downriver, Craft Beer Flows in Metro Detroit This Weekend

Wyandotte

Wyandotte Beer Fest
Hop from business to business to sample craft beers and food, or buy domestic beer on the street. Live entertainment will be provided by the band Category 5  Beer tasting mugs will be available at the clock tower on the day of the event for $20. 
When: Friday at 5 p.m.
Where: Downtown Wyandotte
Price: Free to get in, food and drink available for purchase.

Royal Oak

Michigan Craft Beer Stroll
Come sample beers from some of the top breweries in Michigan, including Atwater, Bells, Dragonmead, North Peak, Saugatuck and many more. There will also be 25 area restaurants offering signature dishes. 
When: Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.
Where: Downtown Royal Oak, 526 Main St.
Price: Tickets are $40 in advance or $50 on the day of the event. Tickets are available online at neptix.com/events/1451/.

Canton

Brew, Brats and Bands at the Barn
Sample more than 50 specialty craft beers while enjoying live entertainment by All Directions and Tabasco Cats. You can also enjoy brats, pretzels and get a tasting mug with your entrance ticket.
When: Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: Preservation Park, off Ridge Road just north of Cherry Hill.
Price: Tickets cost $30 on site the day of the event or $10 for a designated driver ticket. Additional beer tasting tickets are available for purchase, four tickets for $5. 

Birmingham

Common Ground Street Art Fair
Stroll the streets of downtown Birmingham while taking in the work of more than 160 juried artists. Unique shopping and fabulous restaurants line the street, drawing residents from throughout Oakland County and beyond. More than 80,000 fairgoers attend annually.
When: Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: S. Old Woodward between Maple and Frank Street in downtown Birmingham.
Price: Free

St. Clair Shores

Made in Michigan Market
Support locally made goods from Michigan vendors, including shortbread, gluten-free pierogi, salsa, chocolate, bird feeders and more. There will also be live music and a charity hockey game on Saturday.
When: All day Friday and Saturday
Where: St. Clair Shores Senior Activities Center, 20000 Stephens St.
Price: Free to enter the market. Tickets for the hockey game at 7:30 p.m. Saturday are $10 and available at the center.
