The Clawson City Park is located in the center of town near the corner of West Elmwood and North Custer avenues. The park contains a playground, a picnic pavilion, tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, a baseball field, a softball field, a football field, a soccer field and a woodchip exercise trail. During the school year, the high school uses the athletic facilities for football and soccer games. City Park hosts many high-profile community events, such as the Fourth of July fireworks, the Relay for Life, the Farmers Market/Flower Day, the Claws & Paws Race and the annual Fall Festival. Residents can also hold picnics and barbecues at the park during the warmer months.
