Schalm Elementary School

Schalm is one of two elementary schools in the Clawson Public School system. It was founded in 1957 and has about 500 students. In 2000, the school underwent major renovations, including expanded classrooms, a new media center, library and cafeteria. Schalm offers many unique opportunities to students. It has an Autism Spectrum Disorder program where general education students can work with autistic students. Other programs allow students to work on the yearbook and make morning announcements on the PA system.
