The 12-member team won first and second place in the People's Choice category at the auto show competition in January.

The team won first and second place in the People's Choice category for robotic floats it built. The students built two floats — one of the Renaissance Center and the other of Comerica Park. Did you make it to the auto show this year? If you share a photo by 6 p.m. today, you'll have a chance to win a Patch T-shirt or hat.
You've been to the North American International Auto Show in Detroit; now it's time to dream. Whether it's a Mercedes or a Ford, chances are you had a favorite car (we wonder if this Bentley is a favorite of chef Wolfgang Puck?) And more than likely, you have a photo of yourself in front of that car to prove it. Patch wants to see your photos from the auto show, and we'll reward you for it. We want to know who from Clawson will participate in the big event.

A large crowd filled Main Street, south of 14 Mile Road, for the Clawson Lions Club's 13th Annual "Down on Main Street" Car Show.
The Clawson Lions Club's 13th Annual "Down on Main Street" Car Show filled both sides of South Main Street with classic cars and happy people enjoying a hot summer day.
