Weekend Spotlight: Caroling in Clawson

The annual event will take over city streets Saturday night.

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? We recommend doing some old-fashioned caroling in Clawson Saturday night! What: Caroling in Clawson When: Dec. 15 from 6-7:30 p.m. Where: Hunter Community Center  Cost: Free Why go: Who doesn't like to spread Christmas cheer and watch your neighbors' faces light up as you sing them some of the holiday tunes we all know and love? Feel free to bring along friends and family to join you for this free event that truly celebrates the season. Bonus: There's hot chocolate at the end to warm up with!

UPDATE: 'Caroling in Clawson' Holiday Event Location Change

Sign up today to take part in the city's holiday tradition on Dec. 15, which moves from City Hall to the Hunter Community Center.

Updated 10 a.m. Dec. 3: This kick off for the event has moved to the Hunter Community Center because of construction at City Hall. You are familiar with all of the holiday classic songs. Chances are you’ve probably had them playing on your car radio long before Thanksgiving. So, why not belt them out for all to hear and spread some holiday cheer?  No spectacular singing voice is required to carol in Clawson this December, just a desire to have some good, old-fashioned, nostalgic fun. The third annual 'Caroling in Clawson' event, sponsored by Clawson Youth Assistance, is set to take place Dec. 15 from 6-7:30 p.m. on city streets and sidewalks. Participants will be given assignments of what streets to cover (most choose their own), as well …
