Gatt Named Manager of Animal Control Division

Robert Gatt will manage the largest public shelter in Oakland County.

Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson announced last week that Robert Gatt has been promoted to manager of Animal Control Division, which oversees the Oakland Pet Adoption Center in Auburn Hills. Gatt succeeds Lawrence Obrecht who retired after nine years of service. “Bob Gatt brings a wealth of talent and managerial experience to his new job,” Patterson said. “We are lucky to have him on board.” A resident and current mayor of Novi, Gatt has served as chief of field operations for Oakland County’s Community Corrections Division since 2002.
