Fourth of July Commitee Accepts Beautiful Baby Contest Entries

The following information was submitted by the Clawson Fourth of July Committee:

If you would like to enter your Beautiful Baby in the contest, please submit a 4” x 6” or 3” x 5” NON-PROFESSIONAL, NON-RETURNABLE photograph of your child, a $5 entry fee and all information requested below to Beverly Formell. There is no age limit for your baby, however your picture should be taken within the last 12 months. Clawson residency is NOT required. Entries are due by Friday, June 24, 2011, however the committee will accept late entries.

Each baby will have a canister with their picture attached to it. Votes are cast by putting money in the canister of the baby you believe should be named “Most Beautiful Baby." A voting station will be set up in City Park at the following events: June 25 beginning at 11:30 am until 2 p.m. (Kiddie Parade/Coney Day/Kiddie Games); June 29 at the Band Concert/Ice Cream Social beginning at 7 p.m.; July 3 from 3-9 p.m. and July 4 from noon to 6 p.m.

The baby with the most money in their canister (a total from all events) will be named “Most Beautiful Baby.” The babies with the second and third highest totals will be named first runner-up and second runner-up respectively. The winners will be announced and prizes will be awarded at 7 p.m. July 4. You need not be present to win.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Citizens Bank. For the third year in a row, they have kindly donated all the prizes for our contest. The second runner-up will receive a certificate for a $50 savings bond; the first runner-up will receive a certificate for a $75 savings bond; and the winner will receive a certificate for a
$100 savings bond.
