Pet of the Week: Allie Needs a Home
Allie is up for adoption through the Paws for Life Rescue in Troy.
Meet Allie. She is 10 months old and weighs 43 pounds. Allie was rescued from a shelter and was scheduled to be euthanized before Paws for Life Rescue took her in. The rescue said Allie ended up in a shelter because her family could no longer afford to feed her.
She is an active dog who loves to play with dog toys and other dogs. Allie has been spayed, however she could use some basic training. The rescue said she is a "smart, quick learner" and workers believe she is a Shar Pei/lab mix but they are uncertain.
