Police: Homeowner Reports Appliances Stolen From House

The following information was supplied by the Clawson Police Department.

A Clawson homeowner told police someone stole several appliances from a house for sale on the 70 block of Charlevoix.

A report says the homeowner went to the house to prepare it for a potential buyer and discovered the refrigerator, stove, washer and dryer were gone. He made the report at about 3:15 p.m. Friday. The man told police he was last in the house three to four weeks ago and at the time, all the appliances were there.

There are no suspects and there were no signs of forced entry at the house.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Clawson Police at 248-435-5000.

How come no forced entry or curious neighbors? This sounds a little strange that items that large can just walk away without forced entry.
