Police Blotter: Resident and Car Shop Report Thefts from Vehicles
The following information was supplied by the Clawson Police Department.
A resident on the 200 block of Batchewana told police someone stole a Kenwood brand stereo and subwoofer from a vehicle parked in the driveway between Nov. 22 and Nov. 23.
The resident discovered the items were missing the morning of Nov. 23, a police report said.
A neighbor reporting seeing a white van driving up and down the street numerous times over night, according to a police report. However, it is unclear whether anyone inside the van was involved.

There are no suspects in the incident.
Larceny at Car Shop
in Clawson reported a red flashing light was stolen from the top of a customer's vehicle between Nov. 21 and the morning of Nov. 23. A police report said the 2001 Dodge Ram was locked and parked in the shop's lot waiting for transmission.

An employee told police it appeared someone cut the wire that ran the light to the rear window of the vehicle. The light is worth $200, the report said. Nothing else was missing from the vehicle.
