Up at City Hall now hearing the details and it does sound positive. The crowd seems to be fairly split on the idea, but a few naysayers have been swayed.

I was up there until 9:00 and have been watching on tv since I got home. Unfortunately the city is in a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation. It is impossible to make everyone happy, and at this point, I need Clawson to do what it feels is right for the city and it's citizens as a group. I lived on West Baker for 6 years in between Bywood and Selfridge so I can understand the traffic and noise concerns. However, after having my choice of buying a home in any area, I decided to keep my family in Clawson because as a city and a community, I truely believe that we are great and can get even better. I moved to the DDA district because I believe that this city is trying to improve and if they can then it will only benefit my family and it's future. If this can help this city in anyway and more ways than disrupting the community, I will support it.
